Its Christmas time!!

 Tis' the season to be jolly....

Hello! It's now boxing day morning and nobody (from what I know) is awake right now, I don't even know where my phone is so I'm in front of the laptop typing away about Christmas!

I hope you all had a wonderful one, and if you didn't, well there's always next year :P

But lately I've been thinking alot about Christmas, and as a teenager there has been a difference in how I feel about it. When I was a kid I felt over the moon about Christmas, it was just everything about it. The family and friends, the food, the presents ... the great movies!!

But now I'm almost a young adult (yep I know I probably shouldn't have started with 'But' but please bear with me) Christmas can be a little bit daunting.

'What am i going to wear?'
 'Should I wish (insert person) Merry Christmas or is that a bit weird?...'
'What presents should I give people?'
'I haven't even got half as much money for that'
 etc..


And as a Christian (again bear with me with the awkward sentence starters) it just makes me think

Seriously Ruth it's supposed to be about Jesus, not about hoping to get an iPhone 5!?

Well I didn't go to far with the present wishing, but you get my drift.

Too many times I hear people say 'I wish I was a child again' and I guess it is because, we worry way too much! So what if you didn't get that exact phone, or exact designer item, or that exact laptop or whatever. You've probably heard this before but I'll say it anyway - Some people don't even have the luxury of having clean water, let alone a Christmas Present!

So just be happy!

Have you ever wondered why we sometimes wish to be kid's again? One of the reasons is that kid's hardly ever worry about wishing people merry Christmas or what they wear, and their handmade presents come from the heart :)

If you got that iPhone then in four months you'd probably want to move on to a better phone.

What matters is that if you are content with what you have right now, you'd be content when you get more!

Small announcement...

Hi,

So I've been thinking about this blog for a while now... and I don't feel as If it's going in the direction i would prefer it to go. So I will be ceasing the winter looks for a moment and I may continue it later but more differently since I just don't feel as if this blog is really 'me'.

Luckily since it’s a new blog it much easier (I think) to change directions quickly rather than this blog being say 3 months old and me suddenly saying "Sorry! I don't feel like this is good for me, everything is being deleted!". Now I'm not deleting my previous posts but feel free to check them out and stay tuned for better posts!

Winter Fashion for Teenage Girls 2012 (Look 2 - Peplums and Jumpers!)

Like I promised, Part two of my Christmas wish list winter wardrobe is here! (Whoa that was a mouthful)

Peplum dresses and tops and Woolly jumpers are what are trending this year, and I've found that fashion trends more than often repeats itself.

Peplums have been worn for years and years, and have only been recently brought out again into the limelight.

To be honest I wasn't so sure about the whole peplum craze thing... As I am with many new trends but the saying 'Love yourself before others love you - Me:P' really does come to practice as I fell in love with these types of clothing! Peplum's really do create the image of curves where you may not have some, and they give an instant look of sophistication and class (Which I love!).

Throw on a classy dress like this and you'll be turning heads (In a good way: p)

Or for a sexier (mmhmm!) look try this one!

Now... Onto the Jumpers. Knitted jumpers not only keep you warm, but are really cute too. You can get them from virtually any clothes shop! I was in Primark the other day and I saw all these cool jumpers for like £3-£5?! And they had cool slogans on them and ... the tumblr famous 'Moustache' print too! This is disgraceful. I should have one by now ha-ha. (Well i do but it looks like it’s been through a farm in Yorkshire. Okay ... exaggeration but really!)

Winter Fashion for Teenage Girls 2012

Hi guys!

The Temperature's dropping, the Sky is getting darker, the leaves on the trees are falling and it’s getting frostier each day... Yep it's winter.

As much as winter annoys me (I live in London btw so it’s incredibly cold these times of the year) it is no excuse for us fashionista's to look drab. It's possible to be comfortable, warm and fashionable during these winter months. Below are some examples of what's trending this winter and how to style them!


(P.S Depending on which continent you live you may not be able to wear some of these, but these are suited to those who have partically cold weather, so you don't have to wear these exact clothing :))

Keep your head warm with a cool beanie hat! These are sooo fashionable this year, plus they keep your head warm, plus their cool! There are so many different types of beanie's out there so you can pick one that suits your style. The one I have is white from Roxy (pic below). There are so many different styles out there so don't be afraid to choose what you like :)

Hello Everyone!,


This is my new blog! Where I will talk about things on a variety of subjects, not to mention the often musings of my own life as well ^.^

To give a more direction as what this blog will be about, It'll probally be about Fashion, Music ,Beauty, some reviews and my thoughts on subjects at times :) 

Why did I start this blog?

I'm a student and I have often thought about starting my own blog but it was a case of 'Should I or Shouldn't I ...' but in the end I plucked up the courage to make one and here it is!
